Day 1: 26/05/2012 Welcome to New Zealand. Sky Tower
Arrive Auckland International Airport. Welcome to New Zealand. Once you have cleared Customs & Immigration, enter the arrivals lounge where your driver will be waiting to meet and greet you. The driver will also hand over to you the necessary documents for your stay in New Zealand. The rest of the day is we recommend you spend time at the Harbour front, at the many cafes there or even try the Minus 5 Bar !

Day 2: 27/05/2012 Auckland City tour
City tour of Auckland . on a guided panoramic city tour. Take in landmarks like the war memorial museum and the harbour bridge. Auckland's harbours are filled with yachts - this is one of the most popular palces in the world for sailors! Don't miss the view from the sky tower. Day 3:28/05/2012 Auckland to Rotorua with entry to Waitomo Caves Auckland/Waitomo/Rotorua incl Caves
Travel through the horticultural farmland and into the lush dairy farm areas. After this continue through the ever changing scenery through Hamilton the Bridge City onto the Waitomo region where we stop at the Big Apple for lunch (optional). After lunch we continue to todays highlight your guided tour through the famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves which have spectacular limestone formations and the roof is studded with the lights of thousands of tiny Glowworms. After your cave experience continue past Lake Karapiro and picturesque Fitzgerald Glade to arrive in Rotorua.

Day 4:29/05/2012 In Rotorua. Thermal Reserve,Te puia.Jet Boat Ride.
The Grand Experience is a morning sightseeing excursion around Rotorua city visiting three of the most popular attractions in the region. The first stop is Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and Te Puia formerly known as the Maori Arts and Crafts institute. A guided tour takes visitors through Te Puia where the traditional crafts of Flax weaving and wood carving are passed down from generation by tribal elders. Enjoy the tour of the thermal reserve, viewing the many boiling mud pools, hot springs and geysers.
A must see stage show starring New Zealands 19 sheep breeds with shearing and Dog trials as well. Today enjoy Jet Boat Ride.

Day 5:30/05/2012 Rotorua to Queenstown,City Tour, Gibbston valley Winerys , Visit Arrow town (domestic flight 3 hours)
Transfer from Hotel to Rotorua Airport.On arrival, you will be met by your driver. After collecting your luggage, Followed by City Tour.The most spectacular photo opportunity in Queenstown. Queenstown Hill offers spectacular panoramic views over the town centre, Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountain Range. Remember to bring your camera for picture postcard photo opportunities.
Visit the Kawarau Bungy Bridge the home of the original bungy jump. The birth place of bungy jumping as we know it and mecca for all adrenalin junkies. Get a behind the scenes look at how bungy jumping started, how bungy cords are made and privileged access to restricted viewing platforms.
Then its onto the Gibbston Winery. A chance to savour a selection of four locally produced wines and browse through the winery's well stocked delicatessen and gift shop.
Gibbston Valley Wines and winemaker Grant Taylor are on top of the world after the 2000 Reserve Pinot Noir was named Champion Pinot Noir and winner of the Burgundy and Pinot Noir Trophy at the world's largest and most prestigious wine competition in London. Lastly we visit the beautiful town of Arrowtown. The picturesque town retains its old world charm through careful preservation of its colourful history and colonial style Remarkables Sweet Shop and the great shops and cafes in the high street.

Day 6:31/05/2012 Milford Sound Full day
7:00am Be collected from your hotel with an early start today for what has been described as the best one day journey in the world. Your journey begins travelling along the edge of Lake Wakatipu beneath the impressive Remarkable mountains on the way through to Te Anau, the gateway to the Fiordland National Park. After a short break at Te Anau we enter the Fiordland National Park through the Eglinton Valley where you will see ancient alpine beech forest and the famous Mirror Lakes. From here progress through the Upper Hollyford Valley to the 1.2 kilometre Homer Tunnel which was drilled through solid rock. On exiting the tunnel you have entered the Cleddau Valley and descend down to Milford Sound. Board the waiting vessel for a one hour forty minute full length cruise of Milford Sound out to the Tasman Sea.
An excellent commentary is given during the cruise and apart from the majestic scenery of towering peaks jutting out of the Sound itself you should also see sparkling waterfalls, fur seals lazing on the rocks, dolphins playing in the ships wake and numerous sea birds. After the cruise sit back, relax and enjoy the view from the coach on the return journey to Queenstown. Arriving back at Queenstown and your hotel at approx 7.30pm.

Day 7:01/06/2012 Queenstown Bobs Peak .Gondola Ride.Luge Ride Skyline Gondola & 1 Luge Ride
The gondola ride takes you to Bob's Peak perched high above Queenstown. From here get the best views over picturesque Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and Remarkable Mountains spread before you in a magnificent panorama. The ride up of 450 metres takes you to 790 metres above sea level LUGE RIDE - Hurtle round a winding downhill track above the Skyline complex. Its the fastest fun on wheels. Day 8:02/06/2012 Queenstown to Franz Josef Village 8:00 am Queenstown to Franz Josef
Today you will make a short visit to Lake Wanaka and then follow the shore of Lake Hawea through to Makarora. From here you are on the Haast Road which follows the ancient Maori trail to the West Coast. From the Haast township the scenery changes as you pass through small settlements and lakes full of Trout and Salmon. Once you reach Fox Glacier it is only another 25 minutes to your destination Franz Josef Glacier.

Day 09:03/06/2012 Franz Josef Village to Christchurch. Enjoy Scenic Alpine Train
9:15 am Franz Josef to Greymouth IC This morning continue up the West Coast travelling through the gold rush town of Ross where the largest gold nugget found weighed 2.8 kilograms. We will make a stop at Hokitika where time is available to view the Greenstone (Jade) and Glass Blowing studios. From here, pass through Kumara Junction before arriving at Greymouth which is where the Tranz Alpine train departs from.
1:45 pm Tranz Alpine Scenic Train -(3 HRS) The award winning Tranz Alpine train is rated as one of the top six scenic train journeys in the world. The train crosses the huge and fertile farmlands of the Canterbury Plains, winds its way over massive viaducts, through spectacular river gorges and the stunning Waimakariri River valley. The highest point is 737 metres at the alpine village at Arthur's Pass. From Arthur's Pass to or from Greymouth the scenery is lush beech forest and tranquil Lake Brunner.

Day 10:04/06/2012 Christchurch City Tour, Antarctic Center, Orana Wild Life Park
CHC City Tour :The tour commences by covering the central city highlights, including Cathedral Square, Victoria Square, the Avon River, Town Hall, the floral clock, Law Courts, Provincial Chambers, Christ's College, Museum, Botanical Gardens, Arts Centre and the Bridge of Remembrance. On leaving the inner city, the tour then travels to Mona Vale an historic homestead and Gardens. We then travel to the Sign of the Takahe, a historic building providing spectacular views over the city, Canterbury Plains and to the Southern Alps. The tour then travels to the seaside of Sumner where we stop at Cave Rock. We return to Christchurch via the Port Hills, the Port of Lyttelton and the Lyttelton tunnel, back to the city.
Antarctic Center: Following on a trip to the International Antarctic Centre, which recreates the atmosphere of Antarctica with a Snow and Ice Experience and the Blue Penguin Encounter Finally returning to your original departure point.
Orana Wild Life Park: Orana Wildlife Park is operated by Orana Wildlife Trust.
The Park has been developed as an open range sanctuary for endangered animals, providing them with enclosures as close to their natural habitat as possible. Streams, moats and banks are used as barriers to allow visitors the opportunity to see the animals in a natural manner. Over 400 animals from 70 different species are displayed. Day 11 :05/06/2012 Farewell New Zealand
Breakfast at Hotel its time to bid farewell to new Zealand. Drive to the airport and return your coach before you board your onward flight. Depending on the flight timing. We strongly recommend you visit the Antarctic centre which is located right next to the airport. (Breakfast)
